Sensei George McGrath
Shihan George McGrath is the chief instructor for all of Michigan Shukokai Karate. He first started training in the martial arts at age 52. After learning American Boxing and Tae Kwon Do Shihan McGrath met and began learning from Shihan Kimura in the late 1960s. Shihan McGrath's unique enthusiasm has motivated many students to take Kimura Shukokai to the next level. Shihan McGrath now age 91 never stops setting and achieving goals. He truly is the definition of Shihan, a "Teacher of Teachers".

Gavin Armstrong
Sensei Gavin Armstrong, 5th Dan, began his training in 1974 in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), where he was born. He came to the USA in 1979. Sensei Gavin taught classes under Shihan Kimura for many years. He strictly adheres to the technique and method taught by Sensei Kimura, and continues in the tradition of constantly looking for ways to improve the techniques. He continually trains with other Kimura Shukokai instructors from around the USA as well as around the World.

Michael and Martha Moles are the Chief Instructors at River Dell Shukokai Karate Center and are part of Kimura Shukokai International. They have a combined experience of over 49 years in Shukokai Karate.
